The Routsong Funeral Home at 81 North Main Street in Centerville is convenient to the south suburbs of Centerville, Washington Township and south Kettering. This old landmark was originally built in 1809 by Benjamin Robbins, one of the four founders of Centerville, out of Centerville limestone. Over the years, the old homestead has had many owners. It wasn't untill 1966 that this colorful old house was purchased and remodeled for use as a funeral home. It is located on two and a half acres of wooded land near the center of the city of Centerville. Warmly decorated in the Williamsburg style, its cozy wood-burning fireplaces and bowl of shiny red apples have become a tradition in the villiage.
