    • Memorial Tribute - Because this tribute is so meaningful to friends and loved ones we offer it to all the families we serve free of charge.

    • Aftercare / Support Groups / Grief Counseling - For continued support and reinforcement, Routsong Funeral Home has on staff a Consultant who is available to anyone in need. We also hold regular support groups for both adults and children that are open to everyone in the community.

    • Resource Library - Our resource library contains an extensive collection of videos, books and other materials that cover such topics as Explaining Death to Children, Surviving a Loss, and Coping with Grief. This library is available to all our families at anytime during business hours.

    • Greeters / Service Hosts - at the front door throughout visitations and services to open doors, greet guests and assist with all our families' needs.

    • Lounge Area - stocked with refreshments for you and your guests; offering coffee, tea, sodas and water, with room to serve snacks if the family desires.

    • Children's Entertainment Room - with TV, VCR, a video library and games.

  • Beyond the Service - During the time following the loss of a loved one, routine necessities can often add to an already stressful time. We support our families by offering the following services upon request at no additional charge:
    • Memory Collage Boards - A history of photographs is one of the best ways to illustrate a life well lived and it adds so much to a service. We will provide families with large foam boards for you to create a collage of the life of their loved one to display at the service.

    • Valet Parking - We will provide valet parking at our funeral home during the visitation and/or funeral service.

    • Lawn Care - We will arrange to have a family members' lawn mowed.

    • Snow Removal - We will arrange to have the walks and driveways at a family members' residence cleared of ice and snow for the safety of family and guests.

    • House Cleaning - We will arrange to have our cleaning service come to a family members' home or apartment and provide basic cleaning.

    • Vehicle Cleaning - If a family is not using our transportation to the funeral service, we will pick up, wash and deliver one of their personal vehicles prior to the funeral.

    • Home Setup - We will deliver folding chairs to a family members' home for in-home gatherings.

    • Dining Reservations - Many times families want to invite guests to a restaurant after the services to share memories, experience fellowship and thank those who attended the services of a loved one. We will coordinate this gathering at a local restaurant for their convenience.

    • Meat & Cheese Tray - We will deliver a meat and cheese tray to family members' home, or provide one at the service.

    • Coffee & More - We will deliver a large coffee urn, coffee, filters, cups, plates and napkins to a family members' residence.

    • Flower Pictures - To help the family acknowledge those who sent flowers, we will attach a photo of each floral arrangement to the floral card.

    • Grave Side Refreshments - We will provide bottled water at the cemetery during the summer months and hot beverages at the cemetery during the winter months.

    • Pet Adoption - In conjunction with SICSA, we will arrange for the adoption of any dog or cat left behind after a loss.
