Alberta Louise Winger (Mcgrath)

WINGER, Alberta Louise (McGrath), age 89 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2002, at Kettering Memorial Hospital. She was born and raised in Burrville, TN, moving to Dayton in 1937. Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Jennings Winger in 1990, parents, George Henry Glover McGrath and Lucetta Lucinda Goff of Burrville, TN, sisters Ruth Miller, Rama LaRue, Peggy Rainey, Joyce Willis, and her brother, George McGrath III. She is survived by one sister, Jessie Riegel of Washington, D.C., her son, William R. Winger Sr. and daughter-in-law Carolyn, one grandson, William R. Jr., and his wife Roseanne, one granddaughter, Wendolyn Lewis, and her husband Vincent, all of Dayton. She is also survived by four great granddaughters, Gabrielle and Gretchen Winger and Michelle and Megan Lewis, as well as many nieces and nephews. Alberta was employed by Rikes for seventeen years, retired to Fort Meyers, FL and returned to Dayton in 1986. She was a member of Central Christian Church and enjoyed quilting. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 20 at Routsong Funeral Home, Oakwood Chapel, 6 Oakwood Ave., Reverend David P. Turner officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Burrville, TN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Central Christian Church Memorial Fund, 1200 Forrer Blvd., Kettering, or to the Mt.
