Anne Elizabeth Banales

BANALES, Anne, age 69 passed away March 25, 2020. Anne was born December 14, 1950 in Cuyahoga Falls to Joel and Betty (Hall) Bacon. She received her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and her master’s degree from Wright State University.

Anne worked as an English teacher, passing on her love for reading and writing to her students. She was a member of the Ohio Writing Project at Miami University, through which she would let her artistic talent shine. Anne also loved baking, listening to music, and doing crossword puzzles. She enjoyed traveling, going from California all the way to Canada to see the Northern Lights. Above all, Anne loved spending time with family and keeping in touch with the many friends she made throughout her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents Joel and Betty Bacon. Anne is survived by her devoted husband of 24 years, Michael; children Erin (Eric) Howard and Damien (Amanda) Lass; grandchildren Garrett and Dulcie Howard, and Dylan and Austin Lass; siblings Jay (Janet) Bacon, John (Rhonda) Bacon, and Nancy Ellen (Ken) Koch, and several nieces.
