Arthur W. Bull

February 24, 1919 — October 27, 2004

BULL, Arthur W., age 85, of Centerville, formerly of Birmingham, MI passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at Heartland of Centerville. Arthur received his Engineering Degree from Purdue University in 1942. During WWII Arthur was employed with NASA and later was president of Michigan Wire Cloth. In 1958 Arthur was injured in an airplane accident, spending 38 years in nursing care with the last 5 years at Heartland of Centerville. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy (King) on February 23, 2002, and his daughter, Cynthia Bull Wakevainen on October 17, 1996. Arthur is survived by his 2 sons, Dr. Arthur W. (Mary Bain) Bull Jr. and Jeffrey S. (Mary Anne) Bull; 8 grandchildren, Elizabeth (Eric) Bull Davie, David Bull, Kate (Doug) Andersen, Maggie and AJ Wakevainen, Arthur J., Emily and Charlie Bull; and 4 sisters, Alice Hicks, Marge Middlebrook, Dorothy Sevin and Mary Morgan and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave., Centerville. The family would like to thank the staff at Heartland of Centerville and Heartland Hospice for their tremendously loving care. In memory of Arthur, contributions may be made to the Leader Dog For The Bind, P.O. Box, 5000, Rochester, MI 48308.
