Aurelia Martha Ebert

EBERT, Aurelia M., age 82, of Centerville passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2007. She was born in 1924 in Dayton, Ohio. Aurelia graduated from Julienne HS in 1943 and married Anthony Ebert in 1948. She and her husband designed and built their home in Washington Twp. where they raised their four children. Aurelia taught and played the piano, designed and made gowns for weddings, and enjoyed traveling, sewing, and gardening. She was a member of St. Henry’s Catholic Church and choir. Aurelia was also a member and officer of the Penbrooke Garden Club, GBU, Hithergreen Center, NAIM Club, and Seniors Inc. of Centerville/Washington Twp. She volunteered with the Victoria Theatre Association. Aurelia was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Ebert, in 1994; brother, Ray Nevels, and daughter-in-law Wanda Ebert. Aurelia is survived by her children, Gene (Carrie) Ebert of Pickerington, OH and their children, Angela (Darren) Henderson, Captain Dan (Stefanie Weiland) Ebert USAF, Kristina Brook, and Alyssa Ebert; Vernon A. Ebert of Cincinnati and his children, Frank and Joseph Ebert; Bonnie E. Western of Dayton and her children, Eric (Katie), Matthew, Stephanie, Michelle, Crystal and Justin Western; and Dr. Cindy Ebert of Chicago; 1 great-grandchild, Sarah Brook and 1 future great-grandchild; brother, Don Nevels of FL; and numerous relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, at 10:00 AM, May 29, 2007 at St. Henry’s Catholic Church, 6666 Springboro Pike, Miami Twp. with Father Tom Nevels officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends Monday from 5-8:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville.
