Bertha Marie Morgan

MORGAN, Bertha Marie, age 81, of Kettering passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2011. Bertha was a member of Patterson Park Church and also was a founding member of East Dayton Baptist Church. She was a beauty school graduate and later taught at Carousel Beauty College and was employed at St. Leonard’s Hair. Preceded in death by her parents, Grant and Dora; son, Michael Morgan; and sister, Leola. Bertha is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 62 years, Ted Morgan; daughters, Theda (Ted) Hayes and Jeanne (Mike) Rhinehart; cherished grandchildren, Alissa (Lee) Shuster, Raymond (Tami) Hayes, Ruth Hayes, and Amanda (Dan) Kerns; beloved great-grandchildren, Haylee and Michael Shuster; siblings, Ina (Wiley) Cole, Marjorie (Jim) Jarrell, and Jake (Polly) Lakes; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Family will greet friends from 10:00-11:00am on Friday, November 4, 2011 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am also at the funeral home with Rev. Joe Godwin officiating. Burial to follow in Mt. Zion Park Cemetery.
