Betty Jane Dehaven

DEHAVEN, Betty Jane (Weinman), age 98, of Centerville passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012. She was born on December 15, 1914 to the late Fredrick Weinman and Emma House Weinman. Betty was formerly of Kettering and was a graduate of Fairmont High School. She was an active member of Southern Hills United Methodist Church. Betty was a kind, caring person who was loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed spending time sewing and doing needlepoint. She loved to visit the warm climates of California and the Caribbean. Preceded in death by her husband, Collis DeHaven and brother, Glen Weinman. Betty is survived by her sons, John DeHaven of Dayton, Oh and Dr. Joseph (Barbara) DeHaven of Savannah, Ga; and grandchildren, John Charlotte and Joey DeHaven. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at David's Cemetery, 4600 Mad River Rd., Kettering, with Pastor David Broyles officiating.
