Betty L. Paterson

PATERSON, Betty L., age 90, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020. Betty was born November 21, 1929 to Harley and Wilda (Hesson) North. She graduated from Patterson Co-Op in 1947, was a member of the Dayton Victory Chapter OES for over 72 years, and was a member of The Rainbow Girls. Betty worked to make her home a warm and loving place. She was a talented seamstress and quilter, and gifted at arts and crafts. Betty loved to spend time gardening and working with stained glass. She enjoyed traveling to the Smokey Mountains and Scotland with her husband. Betty is preceded in death by her loving husband, William G. Paterson; and brother, Byron North. She is survived by her children, Kathleen Paterson, Jean Paterson, and Ruth Paterson. Family will greet friends Tuesday, September 15 from 10:00am-11:00am at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00am.
