Beverly Maxine Pummill

PUMMILL, Beverly M. (Gross), age 77, passed away in Gulf Breeze, FL on Friday, August 21, 2015 after a brief illness. Beverly resided in Dayton until relocating to Gulf Breeze, FL in 2000 after retiring from PNC Mortgage. She was a graduate of Fairview High School, a member of the Belmont Chapter Eastern Star, a commissioned Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church. She sang in the Silvertones Choir and the Sanctuary Choir, and was part of Rachel's Circle, Joy Nation Life Group, The Good News Class, The Prayer Shawl Ministry and helped with the setup of the Sharing and Caring meals. She loved flower gardening, creating stained glass designs, traveling, singing in the church choirs and spending time with family and friends. Beverly was a kind, soft spoken and tenderhearted person, loved by all those who were blessed to know her. Special thank you to Steve and Faye Rheay. Faye's friendship, time and support to Beverly were a true blessing. Thank you to Beverly's many friends of the Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church for their out pouring of love and service during her life and to Emerald Coast Hospice for the care and help given. Preceded in death by her husband Jack, parents Carl & Lucille Gross. Survived by sisters Linda L. Perkins (Fred), Carla E. Steinbach (Dale) & Mary K. Lowe, 2 nieces, 5 nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Beverly will be dearly missed and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
