Brunhilde Elizabeth Reger

REGER, Brunhilde E. (Junginger) "Miss Hilde", age 92, of Kettering, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. She was born in Gppingen, Germany on October 22, 1924 to Albert and Anna Junginger. Brunhilde is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Reger; her parents; sister, Marianne Junginger; also, enduring friend Alice Rasor. Nanny, as we called her, is survived by her daughter, Hilda Ann McMann (David Brannan- Significant Other); grandson and wife, Darin and Ann McMann; much loved great-grandchildren, Caitlin and Kyan McMann; and special friend, Doris Faris. Brunhilde retired from Gem Savings Loan Association, and ECLC /KinderCare Learning Center. She was known as Miss Hilde to hundreds of children she loved and cherished during her 25 years of teaching. Brunhilde was a prior member of ABWA, member of the Vineyard Church of Beavercreek, and attended Hithergreen. She enjoyed writing poetry, ceramics, and painting, which she gifted many beautiful items she made to everyone she loved. Brunhilde will always be remembered for her loving, giving, and warm nature and most of all her laughter and zest of life spirit. A viewing/Celebration of Life Gathering will be from 3:00-8:00pm on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Rd., Kettering. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 also at the funeral home. Burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in New Carlisle. Thank you to all of Mom's family and loving friends for her visits, cards, candy and flowers during her last two months. You made her feel honored and loved.
