Carl Ray Borgwald

BORGWALD, Carl, age 89, of Centerville passed away Friday, February 11, 2011. Carl was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where he remained a life-long fan of Oklahoma Sooner Football. He worked many dedicated years as a civil engineer until he retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Carl was a proud former US Marine (1st Division) and WW II veteran and an avid fisherman and reader. He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Borgwald; parents, Frederick and Frieda Borgwald; brother, Alan Borgwald; and sister, Marian (Fern). Carl is survived by sons Steve and Greg (Kathy). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville, OH. 45459.
