Clifford Merlin Downs

age 77 of Dayton, died Saturday, April 14, 2001. He retired from NCR and General Motors and was a member of Fairhaven Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Member of the NCR 25 year club. Preceded in death by his brother, Gordon. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Gretchen; a daughter, Gloria Wetz and her husband Neil of South Carolina; 2 brothers, Howard and Harold Downs; and beloved extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday in the Fairhaven Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, with Pastors Theodore Zabel and James Futrell. Burial will be at David's Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday in the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering and at the church Wednesday from 12:00 P.M. until time of service.
