Clifford North

NORTH, Clifford, age 69, of Centerville, passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side on Thursday, January 7, 2010. Cliff's class of 1959 was the first graduating class from Stebbins High School. He was honored by being the Grand Marshal at Stebbins' 50 year celebration in 2008. Cliff proudly served his country in the US Marines. He retired from Delco Products after 30 years of service. Cliff was a member of Post 548 American Legion and was Centerville Elk's #1 football fan. He is preceded in death by his parents Wilson and Martha (Rose) North; sister Ruth Ann Knowles; and nephew Larry Knowles. Cliff is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Ruth (Myers) North; daughters Liz (Rich) Knecht of Centerville, and Melissa (Christian) Eichler of Columbus; grandchildren C.J. and Jacob Eichler, Jonathan Clifford and Jennifer Lee Knecht. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 5:30PM at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Family will greet friends following the service.
