CARLTON, Constance S. "Connie", age 67, of Kettering, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014. Connie was born to the late Ward A. and Bernadine L. (nee Buedel) Freeze on July 31, 1946 in Dayton, OH. She graduated from Stebbins High School and worked at Community Blood Center in Dayton and Children's Medical Center. Connie is survived by her husband of 45 years, David; children, Amy Cotter of Kettering and Julie (Kathy) Carlton of Dayton; grandchildren, Emily and Erin Cotter and Max Carlton; brothers, David and Steve Freeze; sisters, Nancy Sims and Marj Ruef and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi, 6245 Wilmington Pike Dayton, OH. Family will greet friends one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery at a later date. In memory of Connie, donations may be made to Fairmont High School Marching Band, 3301 Shroyer Rd. Kettering, OH 45429.
