Daylene Mize

MIZE, Daylene, age 69, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017. Daylene was born December 20, 1948 to Delmar and Gloria (Stark) Mize. She graduated from Jefferson Township high school in 1966, and earned her nursing degree from Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing and BSN from Mt. St. Joseph College. Daylene was a critical care nurse at Miami Valley Hospital for 41 years. She was a docent at Dayton Art Institute and volunteered with People and Paws. She is survived by her twin sister Christine Alley (Ray) of Lebanon; brother, John (Connie) Mize of Carlisle, several nieces and nephews, and her cat, Princess. The family will greet friends 5-8pm Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St, Centerville. Funeral service will take place on Thursday December 28, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Funeral Home.
