Dolores Ann Holsapple

HOLSAPPLE, Dolores Ann, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. She was born on October 19, 1930 to the late Casper and Catherine (Steiger) May in Dayton, OH. Dolores graduated from Oakwood high school where she excelled in field hockey and tennis, attended The Ohio University and was a long time member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church. She worked at the Kettering Recreation Center for 25 years. Dolores was everyones best friend. Dolores loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Holsapple and son, Thomas Holsapple. Dolores is survived by children; Tina (Bob Donelan) Holsapple, Curt (Susan) Holsapple, Jill (Michael) Matacia; grandchildren, James Emery, Megan and Kevin Holsapple, Sophia, Ruby, & Eliza Matacia; sister, Dorothy Duff; several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 12pm at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 3033 Far Hills Ave, Kettering. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service at the church. Burial at Calvary Cemetery.
