Dorothy E. Lahanas

LAHANAS, Dorothy E. age, 93, of Kettering passed away Sunday, December 21, 2003 at Walnut Creek Nursing Home.Dorothy was co-owner of the G&L Restaurant since 1943. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete in 1979 and a grandson, Christopher Cade in 1994. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Mary Helen (Robert) Cade; 3 sons, Pete (Brenda) Lahanas, Richard (Charlene) Lahanas and James Lahanas; 8 grandchildren, Father Pete Cade, Marie (Richard) Ridgway, May (Bob) Hamer, Stephan (Marta) Lahanas, DeLisa Lahanas, Melissa (Brian) Byers, Nicholas Lahanas and Richard Lahanas; 13 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Davidson; and special friends, Alice Murphy and Marie Snell. Funeral services will be held at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 500 Belmonte Park N. Dr., Dayton at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 23, 2003 with Father Mark Emroll and Father Pete Cade officiating. Burial in David’s Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 12 noon until time of service at the church.
