E. Leone Downs

DOWNS, E. Leone, age 103, of Oakwood, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2010. Leone was an elementary school teacher in Cambrange City, IN., a disc jockey at WFEM/Wing Radio, and finished her career in Air Technical Intelligence at WPAFB. She is preceded in death by her sisters Opal and Alice Downs and Gladys Avey. Leone is survived by niece Maradell Avey-Willmot; great niece Kathryn Hawks, and Barbara (Scott) Cripe; great-grand niece Stephanie Swingle; great-grand nephews Everett and Dell Cripe; and great-great-nephew Ethan Colee; and Maggie Street. Funeral services will be held Thurday, April 1, 2010 at 1:00PM at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service also at funeral home.
