Edna "Midge" Parris

PARRIS, Edna “midge”, age 90, formerly of Dayton Ohio passed away peacefully on Monday April 26, 2021. She is survived by her brother Ralph and his wife Donna, sister Ruth, her son Michael and his wife Vickie, Colorado Springs CO, grandchildren, Danielle Hulton and husband David, Breanna Perdue and husband Andrew, Sean Parris and husband Nick Berte, Jillian Smith and husband Lucas, great-grandchildren Paisley, Connor, Gavin, Eleanora, and Emberlynn. Midge is predeceased by husband David, daughter Karen, sister Martha, brothers Albert, Harold, and Paul. She was a retired School Secretary for Centerville City Schools in Ohio. Midge was committed to her volunteer work with many organizations including Dayton Teachers Credit Union, Camp Fire Girls, Boy Scouts, PTA for her children’s schools, Xanadu HOA, Cocoa Beach Women’s Club, Cocoa Beach Newcomers Club. An avid boater Midge was a member of the Rising Sun Yacht club and Dayton Power Squadron. A lover of books, theater, live music, golf, and any reason to socialize above all she loved people.

A visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Friday May 21, 2021 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St. Centerville, OH 45459. A service will be held the following day at 11am also at the funeral home. Inurnment at Centerville Washington Township Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Cocoa Beach Women’s Club Foundation.
