Elleen Peters

PETERS, Elleen, 86, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2007. Elleen was a graduate of Mt. St. Joseph in 1942 with a degree in dietetics. She was an active member of St. Leonard’s Retirement Community. Elleen was preceded in death by her parents, William and Clara Roehm, husband, James A. Peters, Sr., brother, Gilbert Roehm and sister-in-law Grace (Don) Flaherty. She is survived by a daughter, Christine (Ed) Burroughs, Lebanon, OH; three sons, William Peters, Lakeside Park, KY; James (Margaret) Peters, Jr., Washington Township, OH ; Steve (Bunny) Peters, Madeira, OH; 12 grandchildren, Paul, Christopher, Pam, Sarah, Zachary, Jessica, Greg, Carrie, Jamie, Kyle, Joe and Tony; 6 great-grandchildren Audrey, Charlie, Andy, Morgan, Meaghan and Baby Peters. Also Maureen (Bob) McCabe, sister-in-law, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Leonard’s, 8100 Clyo Rd., Centerville at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 6, 2007, with Father Joseph Rigali officiating. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Cincinnati, OH. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10-11:00 AM at St. Leonard’s.
