Eloise Frances Moorman

MOORMAN, Eloise F., 79 of Dayton passed away Friday, August 22, 2008 after a lengthy illness. Eloise was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald H. Moorman; son, Stephen A. Moorman; and sister, Marjorie Miller. She is survived by her children: Bernard (Teresa), Ann (Ray) Smith, Elisa (daughter-in-law), Charles (Eloisa), Catherine (James) Waag, and Paul Moorman; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Eugene (Lucy) Miller and Richard (Pat., deceased.); sister, Virginia (Mike) Heberling; and many other family and friends. She was a 1947 graduate of Julienne High School. Eloise was interested in women's issues, was a liberal thinker and lived a conservative life. She was involved with the Democratic Party and worked at polls and volunteered with local campaigns. Family will receive friends 5-8:00PM Monday, August 25 at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering and at St. Leonard one hour prior to Mass on Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:30 AM on Tuesday, August 26 at St. Leonard Main Chapel, 8100 Clyo Rd., Centerville. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Eloise's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Miami Valley Chapter, 3797 Summit Glen Dr., Ste. 100, Dayton, OH 45449.
