Elsie J. Mason

MASON, Elsie Johnson, was born June 30, 1908, in Westmount, Quebec, Canada. She was a graduate of McGill University. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Chapter DS of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, and the Dayton Philharmonic Volunteer Association and a past member of First Presbyterian Church in Chillicothe, OH. Elsie was predeceased by her husband, Orley B. Mason and one son, David O. Mason. She is survived by one son, Steve Mason (Lou), three grandchildren- Pam Denka (Dave), Cindy Mason, and Chris Mason (Janine), three great-grandchildren- Zach, Rachel, and Natalie Denka, all of Dayton, OH; one brother, Arnold Johnson (Anne) of Waterdown, Ontario; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, January 12, 2004 at Christ United Methodist Church, 3440 Shroyer Rd., Kettering. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
