Eugene R. Mcglone

MCGLONE, Eugene R., “Gene”, age 89, of Centerville passed away Thursday, January 13, 2005 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born on June 16, 1915 in Carter County, KY to the late Denver and Elsie Kaiser. Gene was a member of the Church of the Incarnation Catholic Church and the American Legion Dignam, Whitmore Post Unit #526, Fairborn, OH. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in WWII and had retired from both Monsanto Corporation and Rikes/Lazarus at the Dayton Mall. Gene was preceded in death by his brother, Otis of Portsmouth, OH. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Jenny McGlone (Beach); 1 son, Michael and his wife, Laura of Centerville; his much loved grandson, Justin; and his sister and brother-in-law, Maxine and Pete Watkins of Phoenix, AZ. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:15 AM, Saturday, January 15th at the Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave., Centerville with Father Pete Helmlinger officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-9:00 PM Friday evening, January 14th, at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
