Fern I. Hannah

HANNAH, Fern, age 94, passed away March 27, 2020 in Dayton, Ohio. Fern was born on May 2, 1925 in Plymouth, MI to Paul H. and Ethel V. (Burgess) Bower. After graduating from Plymouth High School in 1943, she attended the University of Alabama.

She worked for Michigan Bell for many years. On December 25, 1944, she married her high school sweetheart, Kenneth Hannah, and raised two daughters, Jill and Gay, where they resided in South Lyon, MI. In 2004, she moved to Dayton, OH to be closer to her family. She enjoyed traveling, being outdoors, painting, playing Bridge and Euchre with family and friends. Fern was an amazing wife, mother, sister and grandma. She had a servant’s heart and was faithful to the Lord.

Fern was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth. She will be missed by her daughters: Jill and husband, Charlie, Gay and husband, Dave; grandchildren: Nathan and wife, Coral, Joshua, Luke, Hannah and husband, Matt; great-grandchildren: Adriel, Eliana, Titus and Elijah.

Fern will be buried in Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens in Novi, Michigan.

A celebration of her life is planned for a future date when it’s safe.
