Forest Eugene Rogers

ROGERS, Forest E., age 97, of the Bernadin Residence at St. Leonard’s, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2006. He was born on April 28, 1909. Forest was a member of John Durst Lodge NR 716 and Normandy United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Mary Kathryn Rogers and his son, Jan R. Rogers and three sisters. He is survived by his daughter, Judith Chromick, and her husband, J.D. Chromick; two grandsons, Eric R. Chromick and wife, Linda, Joshua D. Chromick and wife, Lisa and three great-grandchildren, Seth Forest, Aidan Thomas and Abigael Marie Chromick. He is also survived by a sister, Janet Rumpf, of Miamisburg. He will be greatly missed by his relatives and friends at the Bernadin Residence. Thank you to Crossroads Hospice for their great care of Forest and support to the family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Pastor Tom Harry officiating. Burial in David’s Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10-11:00AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Resident Life Enrichment Committee for Resident Activities, c/o Sophie Keneavy, 8400 St. Francis Dr. Apt. 229, Centerville, OH 45458.
