George L. Andrews

Andrews, George L., age 89 of Dayton, born in Blanchester, OH on Oct. 25, 1915, passed away April 23, 2005 in his home after a long illness. George was born to the late John & Mable Andrews. He was a member of Fairmont Presbyterian Church in Ohio and a long time member of the NCR Country Club. He was retired from NCR and from the State of Ohio. George was a veteran of World War II in the medical corp of the United States Air Force. He was a devoted member of the Millennium Lodge #779, F&AM, Antioch Shrine Club. George is survived by his loving wife of many years, Ruth, of Andrews Hearing Aids; daughter Roberta and son-in-law Joel Kahn of Conn.; cousins Bob and Irene Siefert of Dayton, Lew and Marilyn Keyser of FL, Steve and Kathleen Siefert of Dayton; and close family friends, the Mehaffie Family. Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Ed Puff and Michael Mehaffie at 10:30AM on Thurs., April 28 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. The family will greet friends from 5-8:00PM on Wed., April 27, at the funeral home with Masonic services at 7:30PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of George to the Antioch Shrine Club Building Fund, 107 E. First St., Dayton, OH 45402-3509.
