Geraldine Braun Dickey

DICKEY, Geraldine Braun, 88, of Centerville passed away on October 8, 2008 at Bethany Village. Gerry was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob R. Braun of Oakwood. She was a graduate of Oakwood High School and the University of Michigan. Gerry was a pianist and singer and had a piano studio in Washington Township for many years. She was an active member at Westminster Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Westminster Choir. Other activities included membership in Sigma Alpha Iota, Dayton College Women's Club, Advance Club, Dayton Music Club and PEO Chapter. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, James T. Dickey, Jr., daughters, Deborah (Walter) Sigg, Martha (David) DiLorenzo, son, James T. (Diana Ogilvie) Dickey, III; grandsons, Ian (Johanna), James T. Dickey IV, David Andrew Dickey, granddaughters, Gwyneth Rhys and Rachael Louise Dickey; great-grandchildren, Eli, Noah and Zoe Kirk.
