Gladys Rose Miller

MILLER, Gladys (nee Rose), age 95, of Miamisburg passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012. Gladys was a member of Oak Creek Worship Center. She was a devoted wife and family woman who loved her children and grandchildren. Gladys was one of Elvis's biggest fans. She collected roosters, crocheted, and made frequent trips to Brookville Lake Resort in Liberty, Indiana, and loved garage sales. Preceded in death by her loving husband, James Russell "Russ" Miller; infant son, Timothy Wayne Miller; four brothers; and parents, Talmage and Ida Mae Rose. Gladys is survived by her son, James David (Pamela) Miller; daughters, Marlene (Richard) Luther and Shirley Mae Stewart; grandchildren, Danielle (Brad) Rodecker, Amber Miller, Jared Miller, Tamela (Randy) Richardson, Timothy (Barbara) Jennings, Trina Marlene Purvis, Jamie Denise (Curtis) Coley, Sheila Rae McBride; and great-grandchildren, Peyton, Justin, Brandon, Scott, Seth, Hannah, Savannah, Paige, Emma, and Grace; sister, Mary Stephens; numerous nieces and nephews; and her cat, Tiger. The family will greet friends from 5:00 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 18 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Road, Kettering. The funeral service will take place Friday, October 19th, at 10:00 am, also at the funeral home. Burial in Dayton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes Dayton, 2555 S Dixie Dr, Suite 112, Dayton, Ohio 45409.
