Hazel O'Neal Kelly (Price)

KELLY, Hazel O'Neal (Price), age 94, passed away peacefully on March 22, at Bethany Lutheran Village after a long illness. She was born, June 12, 1907 in Gary, Indiana to Theodore and Lavina O'Neal. Hazel was the last surviving child of four sisters and one brother. She had a long and wonderful marriage to Gayle B. Price, most of it spent in Dayton. They had two children, Gayle Jr. and Sally. Gayle Jr. and his wife Rita make their home in Dayton and have three living children and eight grandchildren. Sally and her husband Peter O'Neill live in Stonington, Conn. and have three children and seven grandchildren. After Gayle's death in 1969, Hazel moved to Fallbrook, California to be close to Gayle's sister, Margaret (Mrs. Robert Deebach). In 1973 Hazel married John Kelly, a retired American Airlines pilot. John passed away in 1995. Hazel will be remembered by family and friends for her enthusiasm and vitality. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, as well as a talented golfer and an active outdoors person. Private services for the family will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery.
