Helen Virginia Kneisley

Kneisley, Helen V. (Thomas), age 96, of Oakwood, passed away May 1, 2011. She was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio and graduated from Fairmont High School. Helen retired from NCR after 20 years of employment. She was a long time member of Southern Hills Methodist Church and enjoyed playing cards with her Bridge Clubs. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Helen is preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Russell Kneisley and sister, Ruth Jump. Helen is survived by her sister, Faye Botting; her four sons, Thomas (Carol) Kneisley of Oregon, Dr. Jack Kneisley and Patt Kneisley, Dr. Robert (Denise) Kneisley of Springfield, and Dr. Richard (Sherri) Kneisley of Columbus; her grandchildren Jenifer Brooks and Meghan Pierce, Jonathan and Grayson Kneisley, Stephanie, Lisa, and Kristin Kneisley; and 8 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 with a Memorial service at 3:00 P.M. at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E. Stroop Road, Kettering, OH. Burial immediately to follow at David's Cemetery. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of The Woodlands Assisted Living and The Glaesner Health Center at Oakwood Village where Helen was a resident for 10 years.
