Henry L. Jones

JONES, Henry L., age 79, of Kettering, died Monday, April 22, 2002. He served in the Army during WWII. Henry retired from Delco Products in 1985 after 39 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Giddie and Ella Jones; 2 brothers, Howard and Marion Jones; 3 sisters, Mary Jones, June Jones and Virginia Anderson. Henry is survived by his wife of 55 years, Gladys Jones; son Henry (Mike) and wife, Jeanne Jones of Dayton; daughter, Linda and husband, Robert Logan of Dayton; 4 grandchildren, Jeff Jones, Jennifer Arnold, Monika Lowe, and Kelly Gatts; 5 great grandchildren, Rhys, Jared, Erica, Madison, and Cortney; 2 brothers, Chester Jones, and Bud Jones; 5 sisters, Goldie Allen, Norma Kelley, Carolyn-Sue Hunter, Sylvia Kaskay and Myrtle Pelphrey; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held, Thursday, April 25, at 1:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Rev. Doug Westfall officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial in David's cemetery. If desired, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 40 S.
