James Edward Doyle

DOYLE, James Edward, age 81, of Madeira, OH passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2012. James graduated from Madeira High School, earned his Bachelors degree from Western Kentucky University, and received his Masters in Education from St. Mary's University. He served his country in the Vietnam Conflict then later went to retire from the United States Air Force as a Major. While in the Air Force, James attended Air Commando Staff College and US Air Force Pilot Training. Preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Doyle, parents, John and Lena Doyle, and brother, Robert Doyle. James is survived by his sons, James (Tricia) Doyle of Kettering, and Michael Doyle of Fairborn, grandchildren, Patrick (Hope) Doyle, Brady (Marianne) Doyle, and Karina Doyle, great-grandchildren, Colby, Shelby, and Alana, and sister, Ruth Lord of Sun City, AZ. Family will greet friends from 12:00-1:00pm on Friday, September 28, 2012 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering. A funeral service will be held following the visitation at 1:00pm also at the funeral home. Burial at David's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to www.autismspeaks.org. The family would like to thank the staff at Madeira Health Center and Bethesda North Hospital for all their care and compassion.
