James G. Strausbaugh

STRAUSBAUGH, James G., age 71, of Kettering passed away Monday, May 2, 2005 at Kettering Medical Center. James retired from General Motors after 22 years of service. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #73 and was an avid Disney Fan and enjoyed camping and traveling. James was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Strausbaugh, a sister and a grandson. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Thelma Strausbaugh (Henderson); mother, Irene Strausbaugh of Wilmington, OH; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Debby (Gail) Sherman of Kettering and Sheila (Terry) White of Cincinnati; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Steve (Pam) Strausbaugh of Eldorado, OH and Randy Strausbaugh of Xenia; 5 grandchildren, Chris, Shane, Nicole, Tiffany and Nick; 3 great-great-children, Christa, Tyler and Hailie; and 3 sisters, Shirley Farmer of Wilmington, Carolyn McGlassen of KY and Roberta Blake of FL. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 6, 2005 at 10:00 AM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Burial in Beavertown Cemetery, Kettering.
