Joan Herkenhine

Joan Herkenhine, 81, of Dayton passed away Sat, August 18, 2007. She was born May 27, 1926 in Dayton, the daughter of Elmer and Leona Bogart. She was a graduate of Oakwood High School, and a lifetime member of Sugar Valley Country Club, as well as the Bellbrook Garden Club. She enjoyed golfing, boating & fishing, gardening and her loving family. Survivors include her husband Harold; daughter and son in-law Sherry (Paul) Long of Dayton; son and daughter-in-law Greg (Deborah) Herkenhine of Waterloo, Ind; numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; and her pet kitty Happy. She was preceded in death by her sister Betty Rock. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 pm Tuesday Aug 21, at Routsong Funeral Home 81 N. Main St. Centerville. Ohio, with Pastor Darlene Hensley officiating. Friends may call from 3:00 pm until time of service.
