Joseph L. "Joey" Mowen

MOWEN, Joseph L. "Joey" Jr., age 50, of Xenia passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2014. Joey was born in Xenia, OH on September 12, 1963 to Joseph Mowen and Nancy Kathe. He graduated from Xenia High School in 1982 and served his country in the U.S. Army. Joey was a proud father, brother, son, uncle and friend. He is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy. Joey is survived by his son, Josh Mowen; father, Joseph Mowen, Sr.; brothers, Eddie Mowen and Steve (Pam) Mowen; sister, Lucy (Chris) Moorman; nieces and nephews, Ben Minton, Nick (Sarah) Mowen, Ben (Laura) Mowen, Ashley (Paul) Bainbridge, Stephanie (Matt) Prater, Haylee Moorman, EJ Mowen, Heather Mowen, Alex Moorman and Elizabeth Mowen; many special great-nieces and nephews; and special friend, Christy and Randy Cowens. The family will hold a private memorial service for family and close friends.
