Klaus Werner Otten

OTTEN, Klaus Werner, age 87, of Xenia, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017. He was born on August 3, 1929, in Stuttgart, Germany, to Wilhelm and Johanna (Lohss) Otten. Klaus was preceded in death by his wife, Anna, and his parents. He is survived by his sister, Hildegard (Michael) Lindsay; nephew, Michael (Elizabeth) Lindsay and their son Quentin; and many dear neighbors and friends. Klaus was educated in Stuttgart and received a Graduate Degree in Engineering. He came to the Dayton area in 1956 and worked at WPAFB and NCR. He was a consultant in information technology and related research. Klaus was a sculptor and enjoyed photographing around the world on his extensive travels. He had several one-person art exhibits in the Dayton area. A Celebration of Life will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm on Friday, June 2, 2017, at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any earth conservation organization.
