Lawton Scott Giordano

age 73, of Kettering and Sarasota, FL, died on October 29, 2003, in Florida following a lengthy illness. She attended the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, VA, where she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Lawton graduated from Sinclair Community College with an Associate Degree in Nursing. She previously was employed on the nursing staff at Miami Valley Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital. Survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Joseph E.; 3 daughters, Amy Giordano Spallino and her husband, Charles of Danbury, CT, Cynthia Anne Giordano of Atlanta, GA and Lucy Denniston Downs and her husband, Tom of Washington Twp.; 3 grandsons, Paul and Peter Spallino and Joseph “Joey” Denniston. She is also survived by a loving sister, Cynthia S. Milby of Provincetown, MA; and a niece, Anne Conti of FL. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
