Leonard E. Bedel

BEDEL, Leonard E., age 68, of Centerville, formerly of Huntington, WV passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at Kettering Medical Center. Len was a member of the Church of the Incarnation. He graduated in 1955 from Elder High School and received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Cincinnati. Len retired from Wright State University where he was the Director of Environmental Health and Safety. He was a volunteer for One More Soul. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Kathy Bedel; four daughters, Karen Coors of Cincinnati, Diane (John) Tarvardian of Cincinnati, Nancy (Andrew) Barnes of Hudson, OH and Suzan (Eric) Sammons of Gaithersburg, MD; nine grandchildren: Alexander, Anna, Drew, Lucy, Christopher, Jack, Maria, Peter, and Noah; sister, Marilyn (Jim) Winningham of Cincinnati; brother, Ralph (Sandy) Bedel of Cincinnati; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, May 2, 2005 at 10:30 AM at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave., Centerville. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Cincinnati, OH. Family will receive friends Sunday from 5-8:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville.
