Leslie C. Mapp

MAPP, Leslie C., age 92, of Centerville passed away Saturday, April 2, 2005 at Miami Valley Hospital. Leslie was Chairman and CEO of Mike Sells Potato Chip Company since 1966. From 1973 to 1982 he was Chairman of the Dayton Coca-Cola Bottling Company and from 1945 to 1972, the General Manager of the Miami Valley Milk Producers Association. He was formerly chairman of the Board of the Snack Food Association and the National Dairy Council. Leslie was a member of the Board of Trustees of Channel 16, the United Theological Seminary and member of Christ United Methodist Church. He was a mason for over 65 years and member Millennium Lodge # 779, F&AM, Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton, Dayton Antioch Shrine A.A.O.N.M.S. and The Lions Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Elizabeth Williams; son, John Mapp; and 3 brothers, Ralph, George and Albert Mapp; and sister, Elsie Stupp and stepgrandson, Tyler Willis. Leslie is survived by his loving wife, Lillian Mapp; daughter, Martha Mapp; son, Dan Mapp; 2 stepdaughters, Stephanie Booth and Melanie Rammel; 6 grandchildren, Amber and Angela Mapp, Jarrod Johnson, Jason, Lesley, and Luke Mapp and step-grandchildren, Jennifer, Emily, Charles and Chelsea Rammel and Samantha Willis. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 10:00 AM at Christ United Methodist Church, 3440 Shroyer Rd., Kettering. Burial in Woodland Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 4-8:00 PM with Masonic services at 7:30 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering.
