Linda Jean Whelan

WHELAN, Linda Jean (nee McManus), age 74, of Lewisburg, OH, passed away at home Friday, January 22, 2021. Linda was born May 13, 1946 to Michael and Jeanetta (Smith) McManus.

A graduate of Stebbins High School in 1964, she retired from the Office of Clerk of Courts of Montgomery County. Linda was involved in her community, belonging to VFW Post 9927 and Eagles Lodge #321.

She enjoyed camping trips and road trips, and was happiest when she was surrounded by family. Linda loved everyone that came into her life. Selfless and kind, she could make anyone smile. Linda was very giving, supporting Shriner’s Hospital and several other charities. She was a devoted and caring mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew and loved her, including her beloved dog Mezcal.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Cecelia Wright; brothers, Michael, John, and William McManus. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Jaisle; granddaughters, Anna Watson, Lindsey Raptosh, and Sydney Jaisle.
