Linda L. Pettit

PETTIT, Linda L., age 64 of Centerville, passed away, Saturday, October 12, 2002. Linda grew up in Dayton, graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1956. In the following years, she resided in both Moraine and Miami Township before moving to Centerville in 1989. A talented watercolorist, she showed and sold her works throughout the Miami Valley, for many years exhibiting at the Miamisburg Starving Artists' Show. An avid and fearless golfer and enthusiastic gardener, Linda also enjoyed travel throughout the United States and abroad, outdoor sports, dancing, photography, cake decorating, crafts and garage sales. She was a lady who never met a stranger and will be remembered for her warmth and sincere interest and caring for others. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Edna Parker of Dayton. Linda is survived by her loving sons and daughters-in-law; Dirk and Susan Pettit of Moraine, and Greg and Ruta Pettit of Huber Heights; two beloved grandchildren, Jessica and Ryan; her devoted and loving companion of 17 years, Charles Biehn of Centerville; her brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Linda Parker of Tipp City, nephews, Glenn Parker of Columbus and Scott Parker of Tipp City. Remembered with love and respect by Darlene, Jim and Jimmy Southern of Clearcreek Township, Chuck and Kim Biehn of Centerville and their children; Angie, Amanda, Stephanie, Nicole, Charlie, Bobby, Patty, Amanda and; Joe, Mary, and Joey Biehn of Beavercreek and many other friends and family. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 19, 2002 at 11:00 AM at the Kettering Assembly of God Church, 2250 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, with Pastor Doug Cooper officiating, followed by a buffet meal at the church. All Linda's friends are invited to join her family for this Celebration of her Life.
