M. Dorothy Ayres

October 18, 1918 — August 25, 2008

AYRES, M. Dorothy. age 89, passed away Monday, August 25, 2008 at her residence. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, John & Marguerite (Pike) Kelly, Son: Richard L. Ayres, 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 62 years, William B. Ayres, MD, two daughters and son-in-law; Rosemary Lynn Ayres of Centerville, OH and Eileen (Kevin) Sarb of Dearborn, MI, 2 grandchildren; Kellen & Eric Sarb of MI; one sister; Sr. M. Stephen Kelly of NJ and numerous dear nieces and nephews. Her loving care and kindness will always be remembered. Dottie graduated from St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing in Philadelphia, PA, a veteran of WW II Army Nurse Corps, a member of the Dayton Womens Club and Stockwatchers. She was a member of the Church of the Incarnation in Centerville where the mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM. The family will receive friends at the church 1 hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton, OH. The family wishes to thank her care givers and Hospice of Dayton for their loving assistance. If desired, contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of Western Ohio, 7523 Brandt Pike, Huber Heights, OH 45424.
