Margaret Mae Smith

SMITH, Margaret Mae, age 63, of Kettering, passed away Friday, June 1, 2012. Margaret graduated from Colonel White High School in 1967 then went to earn her Business Degree from Miami Jacobs College. She worked for Mead for 10 years in their Data Entry department. Margaret was a loving woman who enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and her 4 cats. She collected dolphins and cat figurines and spent a lot of her free time reading a good book. Preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Marian Pippenger. Margaret is survived by her children, Matt (Christy) Deaton and Tammy (Bobby) Rash; grandchildren, Brandon, Justin, and Cheyenne; sister, JoAnne Burks; nephews, Josh and Chris Burks; and cousins, Jeanne Rischforth and Carolyn Pippenger Small Bowan. The family would like to thank the staff at Senior Resource and Passport for their care and services. A funeral service will be held at 5:00pm on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering with visitation following. Burial in Arlington Cemetery, Brookville.
