Marion Keith Kronenberg

KRONENBERG, Marion “Keith”, age 72, of Washington Twp, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020. Keith was born on April 5, 1947 in Piqua, OH to the late Marion and Thelma (Snyder) Kronenberg.

He graduated from Piqua High School in 1965 and went on to work over 40 years in the welding supply industry for Dayton Mineweld, BOC Gases, Weiler Welding, and Air Gas. Keith attended St. Henry’s and Southbrook Church with his family. He was a hard-working family man who never wanted to miss one of his grandkid’s sporting events. Keith was a talented photographer who also loved to draw, paint, wood-work, and build Christmas Villages every December. His other passions were gardening, birds, fly fishing, DIY projects of all kinds and in his earlier years he enjoyed motorcycling and playing softball.

Keith is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Barbara “Babs” (nee Zwiesler); children, Debbie (Mike) Oliver, John (Monica) Downs, Nicki (Mark) Shumway, Mindi Thomas, Jenny Downs (Matt Nixon); grandchildren, Kari, Justice, Ali, Ethan, Maddi, Jackson, Lily, Georgia, Thomas, and Izzy; great-grandchildren, Emsley and Emersyn.

The family will greet friends from 2-4pm on Sunday, March 1 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N Main St, Centerville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following Monday morning March 2 at 11am at St. Henry Catholic Church, 6696 N Springboro Pike, Dayton, OH 45449 with a luncheon to follow for family and friends at the St Henry PAC.
