Marjean H. White

WHITE, Marjean H., age 81 of Bluefield, VA, formerly of Dayton, passed away Friday September 1, 2006 at her residence. Marjean attended Grace United Methodist Church with her family when she lived in Dayton. Marjean was a member of First United Methodist Church of Bluefield, VA at present. Marjean was a graduate of Fairmont West High School, attended DePaw University and retired from the United States Air Force Civil Service. She was a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority, a 50 year member of the AK-P.E.O. Sisterhood and a past member of the Gem City and other Sweet Adeline’s. Marjean was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Clella Holts. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, John White; son; Richard (Denise) Dobbins of Matthews, NC; daughters; Rebecca McDonald of Miamisburg and Robin Dobbins of Brainerd, MN; step-daughters, Cynthia (Fred) Pierce of Midlothian, VA, Virginia (Jack) Lowe of Chesterfield, VA and Tammy Martin also of Midlothian; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 7, 2006 at 3:00 PM at the Woodland Mausoleum Chapel. Family will greet friends from 1-3:00 PM in the Chapel prior to the service.
