Marjorie Alice Beck

BECK, Marjorie Alice Ebberts, age 88, of Centerville, previously a resident of Beavercreek for 40 years, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Hillspring Nursing Home in Springboro. She was born on November 6, 1925 in CLark Station, Darke County, OH to Ira Stanton and Florence May (Smelker) Ebberts. Marjorie was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and was a very crafty and creative homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Dana Huston Beck and brother, Tommy Ebberts. Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Janet (Ernest) Johnson; son, Joseph (Pamela) Beck; five grandchildren, Suzanne (Jeffrey) Newsome, Joseph (Nancy) Beck II, Christine Williams, Jamison (Tina) Beck, and Nicholas (Karen) Crabtree; and great-grandchildren, Marshall Newsome, Cole Newsome, Emily Beck, Ashley Williams, Andrew Beck, Mackenzie Williams, Sterling Newsome, Stewart Crabtree, Jacob Beck, and Mitchel Crabtree. A graveside service will take place at 11:00am on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Greenmound Cemetery in New Madison, OH. Pastor Charlie Woodward of Epiphany Lutheran Church to officiate graveside service.
