Martha M. Graeser

GRAESER, Martha M. (Santel), age 96, of Centerville, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015. She was born on August 25, 1918 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Frank and Anna Santel. Martha graduated Our Lady of the Angels High School in Cincinnati in 1937 and worked as an Administrative Assistant for Jay Instrument Company. She was a member of Church of the Incarnation since 1957 and loved to volunteer for St. Leonards Nursing Home. Martha is preceded in death by her husband, Russel J. Graeser; brothers, Walter Santel, Paul Santel, and Howard Santel; and sisters, Helen Werbrich and RuthColetta She is survived by her daughter, Marsha Higgins; son, Mark Graeser; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff, and especially the social workers, at Bethany Lutheran Village for all their care and compassion and also a special thank you to the Hospice Staff. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave., Centerville. A visitation will be held one hour before the service at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Cincinnati. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Redwood Rehabilitation Center, 71 Orphanage Rd., Fort Mitchell, KY 41017 or to Cancer Free Kids, 420 W. Loveland Ave., Loveland, OH 45140.
