SHAND, Martha Weller, age 86 of Dayton, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2016. Martha is survived by her husband of 64 years, James; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia (Steve) Wasch of Delaware, OH and Beth (Douglas) Patton of Wooster, OH; 6 grandchildren, Jeremy (Kendra) and Christopher (Courtney) Wasch, Kristi (Carl) Mitchell, and Kelly, Michael and Kimberly Patton; 6 great-grandchildren; and her brother and sister-in-law, S. Russell (Barbara) Weller. She was a member of South Park United Methodist Church, Dayton Women's Club, College Women's Club, Junior Group of Goodwill Otterbein Women's Club, Home Economists in Home and Community (HEHC) and Dayton Chapter OES 125. Martha graduated from Oakwood High School, Otterbein College and Miami University. She was a retired teacher from Northmont City Schools, Englewood, OH. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 11:00am at South Park United Methodist Church, on the corner of Stonemill Rd. and Brown St., Dayton. Burial at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Friends may visit from 5:00 to 8:00pm, Monday, January 4, 2016 at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering.
