Marvin Jefferson Knowles

KNOWLES, Marvin Jefferson, 85, of Kettering, died of Alzheimer's complications on June 5th. He was born in Council Bluffs, IA, on September 7, 1928, and married Dorothy A. Bowers in 1950. They lived in Council Bluffs, Denver and Lake George CO, Kaiserslautern Germany, and most recently Kettering OH. Marvin is survived by his wife, Dorothy, and daughters Linda Mace (Steven) and Carol Becker (Michael) in addition to brother, Leonard Knowles. He is also survived by two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by youngest daughter Ellen Knowles. Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 3:00 on Saturday, June 14th at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd, Kettering, OH 45429. Services to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Miami Valley Alzheimer's Association.
